Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 2 days agoHornets general manager Jeff Peterson said Monday that Miller (shoulder) is expected to participate in training camp and be ready for the start of the regular season, Hunter Bailey of the HWY 49 Podcast reports.
Spin: Miller's availability for training camp is an encouraging sign after his injury issues last season. Peterson expects the forward to be "ready to roll" for Opening Night, which would be a significant boost for a Charlotte squad that could be without Kon Knueppel (hamstring) to begin the season.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Miller's third season was almost a carbon copy of his second on a per-game basis, but he played in more than twice as many games (65) as the season before (27). He, along with sophomore Kon Knueppel, are the two primary scoring options for the Hornets and could get more volume this season after the departure of Lamelo Ball. Ball was the point guard as well, though, so his loss could also mean lower quality shots and those lower scoring efficiency.
