News: 1 day agoTatum said he "feels great" as he continues his recovery, noting that he's now 16 and a half months removed from surgery, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.

Spin: The extended offseason has allowed him to focus on getting stronger and becoming more explosive while working on his body as a whole. These are encouraging comments from a fantasy perspective as Tatum enters the 2026-27 season with a clean bill of health.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Tatum missed most of last season but was able to return for the last 16 games. His production was understandably limited, but it was important that he got those games under his belt before resuming his role as the franchise player for the Celtics this season. Tatum will likely assume an even larger role after Jaylen Brown was traded this offseason, and with increased usage he has the chance to turn in his most productive fantasy season if health allows.
