England managed to secure a hard fought victory over Czechia on Tuesday evening as they came away 2-0 winners in Prague.
It was tough in the early going for the Three Lions and even when the hosts went down to ten men it proved difficult to find a breakthrough. However, Anthony Gordon's smart header after half time set England on their way for three points in League A, Group 3 of the Nations League.
Thomas Tuchel's side needed a response after being beaten by Spain and eventually, they found one.

Thomas Tuchel, 7 -- The German kept largely the same team that lost to Spain but one of his major decisions was to bring back Trent Alexander-Arnold into the fold. The Real Madrid man repaid the faith and duly delivered an assist on Gordon's opener. Otherwise England never seemed to panic, with Tuchel encouraging his team to play their brand of football, and that the goals would come. They did indeed and Tuchel can be happy to see his players respond well after the Spain defeat.

GK James Trafford, 6 -- Calm and collected with the ball at his feet, quite clearly showing what Tuchel wants from his goalkeeper. Also made a strong save in the second half.
RB Trent Alexander-Arnold, 7 -- His first start in nearly two years for England. Didn't have much to do by way of defensive work but did provide an assist for the opener. A good welcome back display.
CB Marc Guéhi, 6 -- Recovered well after a disappointing performance against Spain. Nervy at times early on as Czechia pushed but was solid enough.
CB Trevor Chalobah, 6 -- Very shaky early on and conceded possession in a sloppy manner as the hosts mounted some pressure. However, he soon found composure and saw out the game with relative ease.
LB Lewis Hall, 7 -- Came alive in the second half especially and showed his ability to balance full-back duties well. Unlucky not to have scored too as he had a shot cannon off the woodwork. More performances like this and he will have the position locked down.
CM Myles Lewis-Skelly, 6 -- Started well enough and was instructed to help control play early on. Played some good passes here and there before picking up a silly booking. Taken off at the break.
CM Elliot Anderson, 7 -- Hard working and combative as ever. Won the ball back in some key areas and helped keep a good tempo throughout. Also showed his quality on the ball too and had England ticking well in the second half.
CAM Morgan Rogers, 6 -- Didn't really have much room to work in as Czechia looked to pile bodies into central areas. Hit the post twice, also put in a lovely ball for Saka.
RW Bukayo Saka, 5 -- A poor performance by his standards as Saka seemed to lack the tenacity to cause trouble down his wing.
ST Harry Kane, 7 -- A quiet night for Kane despite the goal, as he often dropped deep into a congested middle of the field. He looked to create and find a cutting edge for England but was unable to pick out any real opportunities. Still, took his goal well.
LW Anthony Gordon, 8 -- England's best player by a mile. A constant threat in attack and always looked to cause danger with his direct running. Did really well with the header for the opener and once again showed he's a key part of this side now.

CM Eberechi Eze for Miles Lewis-Skelly, 6 -- Some nice touches here and there after coming on, looked to cause some problems in attack.
