John Stones was the hero on his Inter Milan debut with the winning goal against Real Betis in a friendly at the San Siro.

The Serie A champions beat their Spanish opposition 1-0 thanks to a goal from the England defender in the 82nd minute.

Stones moved to Inter after spending the last nine years at Manchester City, where he enjoyed a trophy-laden spell.

And the 32-year-old began his first appearance in an Inter shirt on the bench, coming on in the 70th minute to replace Yann Bisseck.
