News: 2 days agoWorthy (shoulder) will take part in Monday's practice, Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star reports.

Spin: Worthy missed over a week of practice time with a shoulder sprain, but he returned to the mix Monday. According to Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star, Worthy worked with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the first-team offense as a limited participant while the Chiefs managed the wideout's workload coming back from the shoulder injury.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: After impressing as a rookie with 101 touches and 12 touchdowns in 20 games (including the playoffs), Worthy had the look of an emerging star. Things didn't go as planned in Year 2, though, as the 2024 first-round pick was injured on his third snap of the season and wasn't productive or utilized as much as expected upon his return. Worthy was limited to one touchdown (Week 6) and reached 12 fantasy points once in 14 games (Week 4). The speedy Worthy is still only 23 years old, so a Year 3 breakout is certainly possible, especially with Rashee Rice and 36-year-old Travis Kelce as his only legit target competition. He's worth a late flier.
