News: 1 day agoDosunmu reiterated Monday that he views Minnesota as his long-term home after re-signing with the Timberwolves during the offseason, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
Spin: "I felt at home. That was the most important part," Dosunmu said, adding that he can envision starting a family in Minnesota and pointing to the area's public schools as another factor in his desire to stay. The 26-year-old signed a five-year, $112 million deal this summer after averaging 14.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists across 24 regular-season appearances for Minnesota following his midseason arrival from Chicago.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: After playing his first 4.5 seasons with the Bulls, Dosunmu was traded to the Timberwolves at mid-season in 2025-26 and established himself as a part of their core. He had an outstanding run in the playoffs and earned himself a big contract extension this offseason. It isn't clear whether he will start or be a sixth man this season, but either way he should get starter minutes and maintain or surpass his production from last season. Dosunmu is a late-round pick in fantasy drafts that could develop into a fantasy starter, particularly in category leagues that value his 3-point shooting and all-around game.
