Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 5 days agoLakers president Rob Pelinka referred to Reaves, Luka Doncic and Walker Kessler as the team's "Big 3" while discussing the continuity of the roster, Ryan Ward of SI.com reports.
Spin: The comments reinforce Reaves' prominent role in Los Angeles' offense and suggest he should remain a major part of the team's plans alongside Doncic and Kessler this season. Fantasy managers can expect a mild bump in offensive usage with LeBron James out of the mix.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Reaves made a star leap last season, proving that he had the capacity to produce major numbers when given the opportunity to. With LeBron James no longer on the Lakers' roster, Reaves now slots as the full-time second option on the team behind Luka Doncic with major upside whenever Doncic is out of the lineup. In four games when both Doncic and James were out of the lineup last season, Reaves averaged a whopping 39.0 PPG and 9.5 APG.
