The 2026 World Cup has entered the knockout round of play. From here on out, it's either win or go home. Since the United States won their group (despite losing 3-2 to Türkiye, who were eliminated), they get to face a third-place team in the Round of 32. That team is the side from Bosnia-Herzegovina, who finished behind both Switzerland and Canada in Group B.
With so many potential bets that can be made, it might be a bit overwhelming to know where to begin. Fear not! Victoria Matiash and Liz Loza have looked over the options and selected their favorite bets from among those you can make for this game.

Best bets for this game
Both teams to score: YES (+110)
Boasting the tallest average team height, Bosnia-Herzegovina has leaned heavily on the size of its squad, unleashing a lethal aerial attack and succeeding in dead-ball situations. While the Dragons have struggled to dominate possession, they did record at least one goal in every match during the group stage. Meanwhile the Americans enter the knockout round having already set a new all-time record for their most goals scored in a single tournament (8). With the team's starters fully rested, expect the U.S. to keep finding the net. -- Loza
Player assists: Christian Pulisic +1 (+265)
Pulisic has been on the pitch for a total of 77 minutes over three contests. After a calf issue forced him to miss the squad's match versus Australia, the 27-year-old winger subbed in during the second half of USMNT's loss to Türkiye, logging 32 minutes and, most importantly, appearing to be 100% healthy.
With the rust shaken off, USA manager Mauricio Pochettino figures to rely on Pulisic to lead the offensive attack alongside striker Folarin Balogun. The duo linked up for an assist-to-goal in the Americans' win over Paraguay. Emerging as an ace setup man, Pulisic should continue to feed the red-hot Balogun on Wednesday. -- Loza
"Match of Moments" Parlay: USA Moneyline + Both teams to score + Over 3.5 total goals (+390)
Let's have some fun! While some company-assembled same-game parlays strike as more attractive than others, this offer feels very makeable. First of all, Pochettino likens Bosnia-Herzegovina to Australia as an opponent -- a side USMNT beat almost two weeks ago. As for the Dragons, after dashing Italy's World Cup hopes in late March, they succeeded in scoring at least one goal in all three of their group stage matches.
This leaves (for a match emitting strong 2-1 U.S. vibes) the "over 3.5 total goals" as the trickiest box to tick. However, if the Americans do manage to take that 2-1 lead, Sergej Barbarez's squad will be forced to open up matters out of desperation. This sets the stage for a potential 3-1 victory by the U.S., the minimum requirement to get this part of the parlay over the line. -- Matiash
