Miami Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal said Monday wide receiver Cam Vaughn has been dismissed from the team but did not give a reason for the dismissal.
During his weekly appearance on WQAM Radio in Miami, Cristobal said only, "Wish him the best."
Vaughn transferred to Miami from West Virginia in January and was expected to be a deep passing game option for the Hurricanes offense.
Last season, Vaughn had 35 receptions for 541 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 15.5 yards a catch.
