Scottie Scheffler heads into the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club as the +385 favorite, his shortest odds going into a PGA Championship in his career and the 14th consecutive major in which he'll be the favorite or co-favorite, according to data from SportsOddsHistory.
Rory McIlroy, the two-time reigning Masters champion, is second on the odds boards but has lengthened out from +650 to +900 for the PGA Championship after a run of limited play and a lingering toe injury.
Meanwhile, men's golf's top rising star, Cameron Young, continues to insert himself into the favorites conversation for majors. Young was around 80-1 for the PGA Championship when the market opened almost a year ago, was 30-1 before the Masters, +1650 coming into the week, and stands at +1475 the day before the tournament gets underway. Sportsbooks note him as one of their largest liabilities going into the fray.
Another notable riser on the PGA Championship odds board is the red-hot Matt Fitzpatrick, who shortened from 45-1 after The Masters, to 23-1. He's been named as a liability across the sportsbook marketplace, as has Jordan Spieth (59-1), who is seeking to complete the career grand slam with a win at Aronimink.
For those golfers to rise, though, others needed to fall. Most notably, LIV Golf holdouts Jon Rahm (14-1) and Bryson DeChambeau (19-1) have fallen down the PGA Championship odds board, with the latter lengthening significantly from 10-1 in April.
