Manchester City's title hopes were dented on Merseyside as they were held to a 3-3 draw against Everton in a thrilling encounter.
It could have been a lot worse for City, who needed a 97th minute sttrike from Jérémy Doku to rescue a point at the Hill Dickinson.
Doku had put City in control with a superb first-half goal and looked well placed to close the gap to Arsenal at the top. But, a Marc Guéhi was pounced on by Thierno Barry to draw Everton level in the 68th minute. Five minutes later, Jake O'Brien headed in from a corner to give the hosts a shock lead.
City looked stunned and proceeded to conceded a third soon after with Barry scoring his second of the game. Erling Haaland hit back instantly before Doku curled one in from the edge of the box to keep City's title hopes alive.
The result means they are now five points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. It means that the title race is out of their hands and if the Gunners win their remaining games, they will win the league.
