Three goals in the space of 11 second-half-minutes saw Liverpool rout Galatasaray 4-0 and seal their place in the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since 2022.

Liverpool began in dominant fashion and took the lead through a stunning finish from Dominik Szoboszlai early on. The Reds had a host of chances but ended the half with a blip after Mohamed Salah's missed penalty.

The Egyptian quickly made amends in the second half, first setting up Hugi Ekitike with a sharp assist before scoring a typical curler from the edge of the box. In between the two goals, Ryan Gravenberch also got on the scoresheet.

It was a statement performance and Liverpool's reward for it is a quarterfinal showdown againt holders Paris Saint-Germain.
