Athletico-PR v São Paulo
League leaders Sao Paulo stutter again in 1-1 draw
SAO PAULO, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Brazil's Serie A leaders Sao Paulo stuttered to their fourth consecutive game without a win when they drew 1-1 at Athletico Paranaense on Sunday.Renato Kayzer finished off a counter attack to put the home side 1-0 up six minutes before halftime but Tche Tche spared Sao Paulo’s blushes when he struck a 25-metre drive past flailing keeper Aderbar Santos 16 minutes into the second half. The result means Sao Paulo have drawn two and lost two in 2021 but they remain top of the league, four points clear of second-placed Internacional, who host Fortaleza later on Sunday.Atletico Mineiro, who are seven points behind the leaders but with two games in hand, play the first of those matches at home to Atletico Goianiense also on Sunday.
