Dumbarton consolidated their position in seventh place after they were held to a goalless draw at home to 10-man Queen of South.Sons goalkeeper Danny Rogers was called into action early on to keep out Lewis Kidd's shot at the back post.Midfielder Ian McShane was unlucky to see his header bounce off the inside of the post before Rogers tipped over Mark Miller's long-range strike.Rogers kept up his impressive form after the break when he denied McShane from close range.Dumbarton's Archibald Campbell had a great opportunity when he went through one-on-one but could only fire wide from a tight angle. Striker Derek Lyle then saw red in the second minute of stoppage time after an altercation with Campbell as the match ended in a stalemate.
