Stirling v Peterhead
Blue Toon continue run
Peterhead made it three wins from their last four away games in Scottish League One but had to work hard for a 3-2 victory over struggling Stirling. The Blue Toon went close to breaking the deadlock after 22 minutes when Steven Noble fired against the bar from outside of the box, but Bryan Gilfillan did put the visitors in front when heading in a Jamie Stevenson corner on the half-hour mark.Peterhead doubled their advantage in the second half when the ball rebounded in off Lee Hamilton for an own goal after Calum Reidford had saved Ryan Strachan's effort, but Steven Doris pulled one back after 70 minutes from close range.Cameron Kerr soon restored the two-goal lead with a low strike from outside the box, only for Sandy Cunningham to put the pressure back on with a diving header, but the Albion striker could not snatch a draw with a late effort.
