Saracens made it 11 straight wins in the Champions Cup with a bonus-point 44-26 victory over Scarlets at Allianz Park.

They didn't give their Welsh visitors a sniff in the opening half as Owen Farrell converted two tries and added two penalties while Scarlets were limited to four penalties from Rhys Patchell to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Aaron Shingler barged his way over before the hour and Ben Spencer saw yellow for Saracens 10 minutes later, but the game was over a contest as Mark McCall's charges recorded their second win in as many games in the pool.

And it was never in doubt despite Patchell's seventh minute penalty giving Scarlets the lead, as Farrell and Richard Wigglesworth controlled the game from half-back for Saracens.

Mako Vunipola stormed over four minutes later as Schalk Brits and Maro Itoje got their offloading game going and Vunipola finishing the move from 20 metres.

Nick Tompkins turned on the after-burners on 23 minutes when he strode through the Scarlets defense before touching down under the posts. Farrell converted and added a penalty either side of two Patchell penalties as Sarries led 20-12 at the break.

By the time John Barclay popped the ball up to Shingler to force his way over though, Saracens had dropped their intensity. Breaks from, Alex Goode, Jackson Wray and Vunipola created the space for Marcelo Bosch to go over on 47 minutes. Chris Wyles then ended the game as a contest as he beat a covering defender to gain the bonus-point, allowing Scarlets a chance for consolation tries.

Shingler and then Jonathan Davies went over to make the scoreline respectable either side of a Farrell penalty, but Sarries had the final say as Michael Rhodes was put through by Farrell to round off the try scoring.

With Saracens having cast three-time Champions Toulon aside in the opening match and after another dominant performance, they will take some stopping in their march to regain the title they won last year.
