News: 2 days agoGiles (upper body) was placed on non-roster injured reserve by the Sharks on Monday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Spin: Giles suffered an upper-body injury last week and will land on non-roster injured reserve as he continues to recover from the issue. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to action, but he'll likely head to the minors once he's healthy.
