News: 3 days agoKesselring was traded to the Sharks from Buffalo on Wednesday, along with the 27th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, in exchange for the No. 20 overall pick in 2026.
Spin: Kesselring was not going to get much in the way of ice time with the Sabres next year, given the team's logjam on the blue line. In San Jose, the 26-year-old defenseman should get a chance at a third-pairing role, especially if veterans Nick Leddy and John Klingberg walk in free agency.
