Spin: Hall exited in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss at Detroit due to a thigh injury, and afterward he relayed that he "felt something" while running, per Brian Costello of the New York Post. Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter of ESPN then reported Monday that Hall is considered week-to-week. While Hall hasn't outright been ruled out for Week 4 or beyond, Allen currently ranks second on the team in carries with 19, which have gone for 61 yards, while Davis hasn't logged an offensive snap through three contests to begin the season. As a result, Allen is the better bet to take advantage of an absent Hall, if that comes to pass.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Hopes were high for Allen entering 2025, but a slow start was followed by a season-ending knee injury in Week 4. During Weeks 1-3, Allen played 28% of the Jets' snaps and totaled 67 yards and one touchdown on 16 touches. The 2024 fourth-round pick has shown he can contribute as both a rusher (110 career carries) and receiver (32 targets), but he's simply not going to see the field much as long as feature back Breece Hall is healthy. Allen, 22, has some late-round insurance stash appeal, as he'd likely start over Isaiah Davis in the event of a Hall injury and would thus find himself on the flex radar.
