News: 1 day agoBigsby caught his only target for five yards Monday in a Week 3 loss to the Bears. He also lost a fumble.

Spin: Bigsby logged 13 carries and scored a touchdown in Week 2 against Tennessee after Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger, but he went back to a minor role Monday. That was partly due to Barkley looking healthy and turning 15 totes into 82 yards, though Bigsby's lost fumble following his lone reception near the end of the first quarter also may have had a role in his lack of subsequent touches. Whatever the case may be, Bigsby doesn't seem likely to have a significant week-to-week role on offense whenever Barkley is healthy.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bigsby was acquired by the Eagles early in the 2025 season and progressively worked his way up to primary backup duties, a role he's expected to play again in 2026. Granted, it's a small sample, but Bigsby has been extremely efficient over the last two seasons. Among 48 backs with 200-plus carries during the span, Bigsby ranks first in yards after contact per attempt (2.75) and eighth in yards per carry (4.86). In fact, Bigsby has led qualified RBs in YAC each of the last two seasons. On the other hand, he hasn't been used much as a receiver (20 career targets). With overworked Saquon Barkley entering his age-29 season, Bigsby certainly has some insurance appeal, even if he defers passing-down work to Will Shipley. Bigsby, 25, is worth consideration in the later rounds.
