It took every day of the MLB regular season, but the playoffs' 12 teams are set: the Tampa Bay Rays (the AL's No. 1 seed), Milwaukee Brewers (the No. 1 overall seed), Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Guardians, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros all sealed their spots in the postseason.
The Phillies won Game 162 to hold off the Arizona Diamondbacks for the final NL wild card, while the Texas Rangers' loss to Minnesota locked up the AL West title for Houston.
