The 2025-2026 high school basketball season has concluded, and Bella Vista (Ariz.) finishes at No. 1 in ESPN's boys' high school basketball top 25 rankings. West Virginia signee Miles Sadler (SC Next 100 No. 27) was the catalyst behind the success for Bella Vista, contributing 23 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists in the 69-65 championship game win over No. 2 Montverde Academy (Fla.) during Saturday's Chipotle Nationals.
Class of 2027 five-star Paul Osaruyi (SC Next 60 No. 3) was also a key contributor, averaging 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in the tournament. Bella Vista finished the season at 26-4 overall, winning eight games against top-10 teams and also capturing the Nike EYBL Scholastic Championship before winning Chipotle Nationals.
Montverde Academy (Fla.) comes in at No. 2, finishing the year at 23-7 overall. After a slow start, the program hit its stride and rolled all the way to the Chipotle Nationals championship game behind a spirited effort from Kent State signee Dhani Miller (four-star), who averaged 22.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists throughout the tournament.
Arkansas commit Jordan Smith (SC Next 100 No. 2) finished his high school career scoring 35 points in Paul VI (Va.)'s opening-round loss at Chipotle Nationals. The program finishes with a 33-3 record overall, ranking ninth to close the year.
Principia (Mo.) ends the year ranked 14th, after finishing 29-2. The team played its way into the national spotlight and was led by Illinois commit Quentin Coleman (SC Next 100 No. 30), who averaged better than 23 points on the season. THe program
No. 24 Rainer Beach (Wash.) also played its way into a national ranking, behind the play of SC Next 100 No. 1 overall prospect Tyran Stokes, ending with a 29-1 record and a state championship.
