The first leg of the 2026 FedEx Cup playoffs gets underway as the PGA Tour heads to TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, this week for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Sixty-nine of the top 70 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings will tee it up (Daniel Berger, who finished the regular season 60th in the standings, opted not to play in the event) and the top 50 in the standings after this week will advance to the second leg of the playoffs.

Scottie Scheffler, who won the FedEx Cup in 2024, enters the playoffs at No. 1 in the standings. Defending FedEx Cup champion Tommy Fleetwood sits at No. 9. Justin Rose, who won the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship in a playoff over J.J. Spaun, enters at No. 24.

A total purse of $20 million will be up for grabs in Memphis, including $3.6 million for the winner.
