India at Asian Games 2026: Full schedule of medal events and fixtures on September 26, Saturday

It's another exciting day of the Asian Games 2026 with Indian athletes looking to improve their medal tally on Day 7 in Aichi-Nagoya.

The men's and women's kabaddi teams will have their chances to win the gold medal as they face Iran in both the finals.

Two-time Asian Games gold medallist Tajinderpal Singh Toor will be in action in the shot put final while Praveen Chitravel will aim for a medal in the triple jump final.

Tejaswin Shankar will look to begin his decathlon event on Saturday with five events out of the 10 scheduled.

Athletics - Tejaswin Shankar jumped 2.18m for 973 points, and Thowfeeq Noushad jumped 1.88m for 696 points in men's decathlon high jump.

Athletics - Animesh Kujur qualified for the final from men's 200m semifinal.

Athletics - Yoonus Shah and Gulveer Singh qualified for final from men's 1500m heats.

Athletics - Nandhini Kongan finished 7th overall in women's 100m hurdles heats, and qualified for final.

Badminton - PV Sindhu beat Chiu Pin-chian of Chinese Taipei in women's singles second round match.

Badminton - Unnati Hooda beat Putri Kusuma Wardani (Indonesia) in women's singles third round match.
