India at Asian Games 2026: Full schedule of medal events and fixtures on September 20, Sunday

The Asian Games 2026 is officially underway with India looking to open their medal tally on Sunday. Teqball player Quimcy Dsouza will have the first chance to win a medal for India as she will be in action in the bronze medal match against Japan's Yuina Sakamoto early in the morning.

Later, Indian shooters Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar, Vidarsa Vinod will look to clinch both team and individual medals in the women's 10m air rifle event.

Hockey action also begins on Sunday with the women's team facing Uzbekistan in the opening group match while the men take on Indonesia in their first match of the competition.

Indian athletes will also be in action in table tennis, badminton and cricket.
