5 - Hundreds scored by the two sets of batters in Guwahati: John Campbell, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. It is the first ODI to feature five century-makers and only the second in all List A cricket, after the Vijay Hazare Trophy game between Baroda and Hyderabad at Rajkot in the 2025-26 season.
9 - India's 400-plus totals in ODI cricket, the most by any team, surpassing South Africa's tally of eight. Wednesday marked the first time they surpassed 400 in an ODI chase, with 362 for 1 against Australia in 2013 in Jaipur their previous highest.
117 - Balls Gill needed to complete his double-century in Guwahati. It is now the fastest ODI double-hundred, bettering Ishan Kishan's 200 off 126 balls against Bangladesh in Chattogram in 2022.
Earlier, Gill reached his 150 off 89 balls, the fastest for India in this format, bettering Kishan's 103 during his double against Bangladesh.
223* - Gill now has the highest individual score in an ODI run-chase, bettering Glenn Maxwell's 201* against Afghanistan at the 2023 ODI World Cup, the only other double in an ODI chase.
It is also the highest individual score in a List A run-chase, bettering Soumya Sarkar's 208* for Abahani Limited in 2019.
Gill also recorded the highest individual score by a captain in ODIs, surpassing Virender Sehwag's 219, also against West Indies in 2011 at Indore.
2 - Gill's unbeaten 223 is now India's second-highest individual ODI score, behind Rohit's 264 against Sri Lanka in 2014 in Kolkata. Gill's 223* is also the third-highest individual score in men's ODIs, with Martin Guptill's 237* against West Indies in 2015 at No. 2.
2 - Gill became only the second batter to score multiple double-hundreds after Rohit, who did it three times between 2013 and 2017. Gill previously scored 208 against New Zealand in 2023 in Hyderabad.

India later reached the 400-run mark in 43 overs, the joint-fastest in men's ODIs, along with England against Australia in 2018 in Nottingham.
811 - Total runs in Guwahati on Wednesday, the third-highest match aggregate in ODIs. The highest is 872 runs between South Africa and Australia in Johannesburg in 2006, followed by 825 by India and Sri Lanka in Rajkot in 2009.
8 - Total hundreds scored by India and West Indies batters in this series so far. This is the most in a three-match ODI series and the joint-third-most in any bilateral ODI series. No bilateral ODI series has previously seen more than five hundreds scored across the first two matches of a series.

West Indies became the first team to lose an ODI with three century-makers - it has not happened in List A cricket before this either.
405 for 7 - West Indies breached the 400-run mark for the first time in an ODI match. Their previous highest score was 389 against England in 2019, also in a losing cause, during a 419-run chase.

255 - Rohit and Gill's partnership is now India's second-highest opening-wicket stand, behind 258 between Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.
It is also India's highest in a chase for any wicket, bettering the 246 between Rohit and Kohli for the second wicket, also against West Indies in Guwahati in 2018.
Rohit and Gill also became only the second India pair with multiple 200-plus opening stands, after Tendulkar and Ganguly.
62 - Balls Gill took for his hundred on Wednesday, his fastest in ODIs and the fastest in men's ODIs between India and West Indies. Campbell's 65-ball ton earlier in the first innings is the next fastest. Sehwag previously held the record, having scored a 69-ball ton in the 2011 Indore ODI.
