Pakistan's National T20 Cup final to be played on June 6 or 7

The final of the National T20 Cup 2025-26 between Karachi Whites and Abbottabad will be played on either June 6 or 7 as a night match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The fixture was originally scheduled for March 18 but had to be postponed because of persistent rain. With the start of PSL 2026 on March 26, the PCB said at the time that the "exact date and venue for the final will be shared closer to the match".

The PCB had organised the this year's National T20 Cup at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar to put the stadium's facilities to test before its inaugural PSL match, which was to be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindiz.

The match, however, had to be moved away from the stadium as the government's fuel-conservation measures forced the PCB to rejig the schedule, which limited this year's PSL to Lahore and Karachi.

Both Karachi Whites and Abbottabad topped their groups to qualify for the knockouts. While Karachi Whites defeated Sialkot by five wickets to secure their spot in the final, Abbottabad went past Lahore Whites by the virtue of having more points in the group stage as the second semi-final was washed out.
