Bangladesh complete a hat-trick of Test wins against Pakistan

1 Pakistan's loss in Mirpur is their first Test defeat in Bangladesh. They have lost at least one Test in 11 of the 12 countries they have played in, with Ireland the only exception. Only Zimbabwe have lost Tests in more countries.

3 Consecutive wins for Bangladesh against Pakistan in Test cricket. They defeated Pakistan 2-0 in Rawalpindi in 2024. Before this run of victories, Bangladesh had a 0-12 record in 13 Tests against Pakistan.

Pakistan have lost all six Tests away from home since then, their second-longest losing streak behind seven successive away defeats between 2018 and 2020.

5 Test hundreds as Bangladesh captain for Najmul Hossain Shanto, breaking Mushfiqur Rahim's record of four. Shanto had partnerships of 170 and 105 with Mominul Haque against Pakistan in Mirpur, only the third Bangladesh pair with two century stands in a Test.

39 years 213 days Noman Ali's age coming into the Mirpur Test, making him the oldest player to complete 100 wickets in Test cricket. The previous oldest was England's Bobby Peel, who was 39 years and 180 days old at the start of his last Test in 1896, during which he completed 100 Test wickets.

6 Abdullah Fazal was the sixth batter to score fifty or more in both innings on Test debut for Pakistan.

2 Pairs of debutants with 50-plus stands in both innings of a men's Test. Azan Awais and Abdullah Fazal became the second when they put on 104 in the first innings and 54 in the second in Mirpur; India's Dilawar Hussain and CS Nayudu had partnerships of 53 and 52 in their debut Test against England at Eden Gardens in 1934.
