10.10pm Again, what a game. Heartbreak for Scotland but that's sport for you. West Indies will feel jubilant. Do join us tomorrow for more World Cup action. For now, from me - Abhijato - and Sudeep, Harshith, Sudarshanan, it's a hearty goodbye.
And finally, Hayley Matthews, the West Indies captain: "Very very close game, glad we got over the line. I thought they bowled some really good areas, cramped for room. Myself and others struggled for options. Really looking to make a difference. Was really good to see [Taylor], different role for her, knows what to go to when under pressure. We noticed spin was probably key. Campbell sick since this morning. Dottin wants to put her hand up and do it for the team. Because she cares so much... It was good to see everyone around her."
Kathryn Bryce, the Scotland captain, says: "At the start of the day, would have taken chasing that 150 total. We probably let it slip towards the end. We've been really on it with our lines and lengths, but had a knock-on effect with the fielding when we slipped... [Openers] were fantastic up top, took on the game, set us up... We've played a lot of good cricket. Clever with the pace off, we struggled through the period to get a boundary. It means so much. The pain people are feeling right now shows how much they care... Will be special when we reflect back on it."
Player of the Match, Stefanie Taylor, speaks now: "I was due to bat at five, but because of the situation, we brought persons up to get the tempo going. That never really happened. So I came at No. 7. For me, it's just the areas where I can hit those boundaries. I said to the persons I was batting with, if you can get a boundary once every hour or two... it'll be good. Well I must commend the coach, we did a lot of work on my technique and how to access the gaps. Every time I get a break, I hit the nets. Accessing the off side a bit more would let me access the more leg side! We've taken it one step at a time..."
9.55pm Deandra Dottin broke down in the middle of her over, right as the chase neared its finish line and got so close! And then, all her teammates swarmed her to comfort her, and she bounced back with a great few deliveries to close out the over. Then, West Indies just bowled in the right areas to seal a seven-run win. They look like an imperfect, yet incredibly exciting, team in Group 2. Primed for that second semi-final spot out of here? Only time will tell. It was a tale of nearlys for Scotland, but they will learn a lot about how they might cross the finish line next time they run one of cricket's bigger teams so close. One of the best matches of this World Cup so far, and surely there's many more thrillers to come with West Indies, and Scotland, still at this tournament.
