A thriller in Delhi. Just imagine rain washing this game out - as was the threat. Instead, it was alive until the last ball even as supporters of both DC and GT were breathless. The first points for GT in the end, as they break DC's run of successive wins. Read Shashank Kishore's report to relive the action. But until next time, this is Himanshu signing off on behalf of Ekanth, Sudeep and Raghav. Goodnight and take care!

Rashid Khan is the Player of the Match: "Quite happy [with] how things were coming. The win made it special. I had a break... tried to hit the right areas consistently. After long, I got such a wicket [like Rizvi's]. Yesterday, I had that in mind [going across to Axar]. If he hits me for a boundary, that's fine... we have been part of close games. It was just about making sure we focus on each and every delivery. Happy to be on the winning side in the end."

Shubman Gill: "All three games we have played have gone in the last over. [When Miller didn't take the single, I thought] we have a chance to win! We decided if we bowl a good slower one, it will be difficult to hit for a boundary. Those five or six runs in fielding makes a difference. Every effort counts. 210 we always thought on this wicket we were 10-15 runs above par. We thought if we bowl well, we should be able to win. Now I just need to sleep and see how I wake up tomorrow!"

Time for the presentations

Jos Buttler: "Amazing. Good to get the win. Very lucky. We desperately needed the win. Been searching for the runs a little bit. Played for long enough to know it [the runs] will come back. It's a long tournament, but you need to start well. We desperately needed some points on the board. Rashid is outstanding. It's the kind of wicket that suits him... crucial wickets at crucial times."

Shubha: "The cricketing universe saw the flip side of not taking an easy single"

Axar Patel: "Both teams played very good cricket. These types of close games you can't point out anything. We could have been smarter in the chase. We lost wickets at crucial times. If not for that, we could have finished the chase off. Rahul kept the momentum on even after the powerplay, and despite wickets. He didn't let the run rate go down."

Abhishek: "How many heartbreaks can one take??" --- As long as one can still take it?!

11.38pm Who would've thunk?! Miller was thrashing and pumping boundaries for fun, only for it to fall barely centimetres short. He turned a single down off the penultimate ball of the over, and left himself with two to get in one delivery. Eventually, he walked back with his head down; it was with that head down that he was sending the ball beyond the stands, but who knew he would walk back disappointed? One run, one centimetre. That's all what separated the sides.

Prasidh Krishna to Miller, OUT, Have GT have won by one run?! This is an amazing finish. The umpire has given Kuldeep run-out, but hang on... this could be wide for height. Plenty is happening even as GT look confident. The players are lurking on the field, waiting for the final decision. Ohh, the ball passes below Miller's head, although he's "on his toes", as per the third umpire. More wait. More nerves. More drama. If it's not a wide, GT will win by one run. Indeed. The ball passes well below the head height. So it's not a wide. So it's confirmed: GT win by one run. This was the delivery: Prasidh bowled a slower one, and short in length. Miller looked to pull but missed. The ball shaped away just before landing into Buttler's gloves. Miller and Kuldeep ran, but the latter fell short despite diving as Buttler hit the stumps at his end

Kuldeep Yadav run out 1 (6m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100

Gill and Prasidh in a lengthy chat. Tewatia joins them. Gill taking his time.

Prasidh Krishna to Miller, no run, ohhh, he sends Kuldeep back. Dot ball for GT. Wow, Miller will need two off one ball. Short ball, and he pulled from middle to deep-backward square leg

2 off 2. Miller can't afford a single.

Ravishankar: "Miller demonstrating why he is so valuable"

Prasidh Krishna to Miller, SIX, this lands out of the ground!! A few hundred miles over long-off. Gill looks away. We'll need a new ball. Miller gets a length delivery outside off, and he liberally lofts it through the line. He got the pace and the length to go for it.

8 off 3. Miller on strike.

A few prayers by the DC supporters in the stands.

Prasidh Krishna to Kuldeep Yadav, 1 run, a loud cheer from the crowd as Kuldeep takes the single. Short delivery just outside off, and Kuldeep guides it to deep third

Prasidh from around.

Kuldeep.

Prasidh Krishna to Nigam, OUT, taken by Gill!! More importantly for GT, Miller will remain off strike. More drama. A short ball from Prasidh, who bowls a cutter outside off. The ball shapes back in, and Nigam decides to swat it back after making room. But he can only send it up for Gill to take it after moving a few steps back from extra cover

9 off 5.

A chat between the batters. Gill takes his time.

Prasidh Krishna to Nigam, FOUR, over mid-off. Why do you need a Miller when a Nigam is on song?! He's deep in the crease, and slices this length ball on the stumps. There's no long-off, and Nigam has all the room to swing his arms

Here we go.

And... GT are penalised for a slow over rate. DC need 13. GT have Prasidh back. Only four men allowed on the boundary.

Are we in for more drama? The crowd is hopeful yet nervous.
