12:53am And that will be all from us. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we loved bringing it to you, and we hope to have your company tomorrow too. Until then, from all of us here at ESPNcricinfo, it is goodbye!

Virat Kohli, Player of the Match: The celebration was not a big one because we know the importance of the points. It is a conscious effort to contribute more to the team. The fact I did not score runs, it eats me up because I have been playing well. It bothers you because that has been the goal - to be the best version. Century or no century, the more important thing is to finish the game. (On if he was feeling pressure) There is a reason people say pressure is a privilege - it keeps you humble. Good pressure always helps you improve your game. A couple of games that do not go your way, you feel a bit of nervousness and that helps you. It takes a lot of effort, but it helps your game go up. Those failures are so important because that puts you in a place to get back (to where you have been and do what has gotten you there). (What pleased him most) Just my positions at the crease, not doing anything extravagant and backing my game. Picking length, hitting the gaps I can hit. Happy I was able to back my game. (On breaking so many records) I just love batting, even after all this. That is my core feeling. What an honour to be competing at this level and against the very best still. Just give my heart and soul out there because it is going to finish one day. Want to make the most of it, and look forward to pressure situations, where I am feeling a bit of heat and then I challenge myself to just go for it. Sport teaches you a lot as a person. You build your character (when you perform under pressure). Even after all these years, it is the love for the game. I just love hitting the ball in the middle of the bat. That joy is still there and it is all God's grace, and I am thankful and grateful.

Rajat Patidar, RCB captain: (On his injury) I am okay, it was a proper headshot (laughs). (On topping the table) It feels great. You play well in the tournament and everyone came in the different stage and doing their job for the team. We are taking it one game and one step at a time. (On how he felt after the first innings) Very satisfied. After ten overs, the way we controlled their innings
.to restrict them (for 192 after their start) is a good sign for us. Last game, we played on the same track and there was variable bounce, and so we played four seamers. (On Kohli) I don't have words, but he is used to doing great things. We have played good cricket. Two more league games, one game at a time. We are traveling to Dharamsala - good track to bat, and we will try to win. (On Salt's possible return) I don't know but he will come soon.

Ajinkya Rahane, KKR captain: We thought 190 was a competitive total. The batters who batted thought it was a competitive total. Good effort by the batters. Our fielding was really good (in last few games). Defending a total, that catch of Kohli, you want to hang on - that I felt was the difference. First six overs, we knew it was going to be easy (to bat on). Last five games, in the middle overs, we took wickets. But credit goes to Kohli, and that partnership between him and Padikkal was the game. While chasing a total, Virat is a dangerous player. He is a dangerous player anyway. Padikkal has also been batting well. Guys are working hard but you can drop catches - that is okay. (On Tyagi) He has been really good for us, working really hard. What I like about him is his clear mindset.

Padikkal: It was an important game for us, want to make sure we keep pressure on the other sides. It has been going good. Important that I keep this momentum going. As long as I am doing that, I am happy. (On Kohli's knock) It is incredible to bat alongside him. He does this so often. If you wake him up at any time of the day, he is going to come in and do this. Just watching and learning. (On if Kohli was nervous after two ducks) I don't think so (smiles). Don't think he needs to get nervous. He got his 14000th run today, so that does not require any nervousness. You want to finish in the top two spots and hopefully that momentum will carry us into the playoffs.

12:21am A brilliant run-chase, spearheaded, unsurprisingly, by Kohli. He set the tempo early and ensured it never dropped. He attacked pace, he took down spin whenever he got the chance and he batted through, ensuring there would be no hiccups. Padikkal supported him throughout and that partnership knocked the stuffing out of KKR. KKR did get a few wickets towards the end but by then, RCB had effectively killed off the run-chase.

This result means RCB are now nicely-placed at the top and even eyeing a top two finish. KKR's hopes are hanging by a thread, meanwhile, and they will now need to win all their remaining games, while also hoping for several other results going their way.

Dubey to Sharma, FOUR, one ball is all Jitesh needs! RCB cruise past KKR, and return to the top of the table! Half-tracker outside off. Jitesh lines it up and swats it to long on's right. Kohli takes off his helmet and soaks in the applause and appreciation. Looks up to the heavens too, and this has been a heavenly knock. Hugs and handshakes in the RCB camp - they have seen their talisman turn up, and they now go above the Titans on the points table too!

Swaroop: "Somebody mentioned around the beginning of the chase that Kohli would score a 100. Kudos to them for being the first!"

Shaheer: "Yeah, we are still in 2016. Virat century, Narine economical, Bhuvi with the purple cap, and Mr. Pandey taking screamers at point"

And KKR review for the lbw because, well, why not. Don't think there is anything in this, but since they have a review left, they might as well. Bat involved, says UltraEdge, and on we go!

Arora to Kohli, 1 run, a hundred to savour! The chasemaster doing chasemaster things again, and this has been a knock right out of the top drawer! Full toss outside off. Kohli jams it down the ground and brings up a 58-ball 100 to make a potentially tricky chase look rather routine!

Kartik Tyagi to David, OUT, oh my days - what a sensational catch that is! An absolute worldie! Shortish just outside off. David backs away and flays it towards backward point. Pandey flies to his left, lunges down low and somehow makes it stick. The crowd is shocked. The bowler cannot believe it either. Not sure anyone watching can believe it either. The ball was almost behind Pandey as he flung out his left mitt, and he grasped it beautifully. There is a check on to see if the catch is fair. Third umpire says the catch is clean, and this might go down as one of the greatest IPL catches of all time!

Narine to Patidar, OUT, Patidar shanks one, and Rahane holds on, after multiple attempts! Back of a length on middle and off. This spins away and Patidar, swishing wildly at it, skews it up. Rahane settles under it at extra cover and after 7-8 bites at the cherry, eventually clings on. Ball landed on his stomach in the end as he fell to the turf, and Rahane will be grateful it did!
