12.12am Abby: "WowâŠtough love that by Patidar.." Indeed it was, Abby. But the important thing is, they have won the match, and are back among the top two, at least for now. Three defeats on the trot could really have sucked out their momentum but they'll be thrilled at having put a stop to the rot. That's all for now, after a thrilling, tiring game. On behalf of Ashish, Raghav and everyone else here, goodnight!
12.05am Time for the presentation ceremony
The POTM is Bhuvneshwar Kumar: "[On what he enjoyed more] The six for sure, because I have bowled many times and taken few wickets, but the six I will enjoy the most. [On his consistency] Honestly, motivation is a very over-rated word for me. You read some quote or watch a video and get motivated for a few days. That fades away quickly. Discipline keeps me going. My physios help me remain in shape. I think everything depends on the wicket as well. Today the wicket was two-paced. There are flat wickets too where you have to keep bowling the length balls. [How does he stay fit] The good thing is that throughout the year I am getting match practice and enough breaks to recharge myself. When you do what you want to do, you feel confident. Crucial two points for us. If we lost that one, we would be under pressure but we did well to get the two points."
Rajat Patidar: "It was a very tight match but overall, great game, and I think KP, he has done it for the team. [On Krunal] There's a lot of experience and that's why those players do it in big matches. [On Bhuvneshwar] Unbelievable. His control over the ball is superb. The wicket was two-paced, had good bounce and on a wicket like this, Bhuvi is very difficult to play. Right now we are not bothered about the table. Our mantra is to play to our strength and good cricket, and not look at the table. [On the target] I think the bowlers did a tremendous job restricting them to 166. But to be honest, I don't think we deserved to win the match because with our batting lineup, we should be chasing this target easily."
Krunal Pandya: "I was cramping a lot. It started from calf, went to glutes and went to my back. So I was cramping a lot. I don't usually bat so long (laughs). I obviously love tough situations and I always prepare and look forward to those. Obviously wanted to finish the game but I was not able to do it but the shot that Bhuvi played was the shot of the match. It was a wicket where you have to play cricketing shots. Not the kind of wicket where you line up the bowlers. You have to apply and grind and play the knock. [On his body] It's fine. Lot of cramps but hopefully it'll be fine. I felt like I can take the spinner and I was batting well so i thought let me play those six balls. We've been having conversations about if we like one bowler, we can just face all six balls. Polly is my big brother. I had my best six years at MI. Kieron Pollard and Pandya brothers were the engine room. It was obviously emotional and I obviously love Kieron Pollard and a terrific human being. GOAT of this format and won so many trophies and games. And as he says, you can't keep a good man down."
Suryakumar Yadav: "[On Bawa bowling the final over] I think he had been practicing that really well and he looks a very different allrounder from last season. And he almost pulled it off for us. [On the total] I think we were 10-15 runs short. But the way Naman and Tilak batted was beautiful on this wicket. Looked like they were on a different track. Very proud of them. [On the fielding] I think these are things you practice a lot with the fielding coach. But the way Tilak responded by taking that catch was very special. I think we can just try and play this game because we love it and just try and put our best foot forward and play it. Hard pill to swallow but we can come back stronger next season. [On Bosch] The way he bowled in the last game, didn't bowl his full quota, but today the way he started in the powerplay and the way he ended, very proud of him."
11.45pm Oh my, what a win this is for RCB! Krunal Pandya, against his former team, against the team his brother captains, plays a match-winning knock while hopping on one foot, fighting cramps after a top-order collapse. Bhuvneshwar Kumar setting up the win with a new-ball burst he's shown so many times this season already, and then finishing it with a crucial first-ball six in the final over. In the end, RCB needed two runs off the final ball, and they just about got home, and broke Mumbai Indians hearts. MI are out of contention for the playoffs, while LSG have also been knocked out due to RCB's win now.
Two runs for an RCB win. One run for a Super Over. Two bowlers at the crease for RCB. What a nail-biter this is! What will Bawa do? Ove the wicket
Bhuvi - hero with the ball, can he be hero with the bat too?

Viratian: "Bumrah has finnally Bumrahed but against the only team I actually did not want him to Bumrah."
