7.4 spins a mile, cleans him up! Buttler trudges off with England in all sorts! Theekshana isn't normally a big turner of the ball, but this one bites off the pitch and zips through the gap between inside edge and back pad and crashes into the top of the stumps. 47/5
0.2 smacked on the pad by a big inswinger! But the appeal is turned down. It looked tight live, and Shanaka reviews after some indecision. Smacked on the knee roll of the back pad. Duckett was looking to work this through mid-on but was late on it. Pitching in line, impact in line, and projected to crash into the top of middle stump! Duckett goes first-ball! 2/1
2.6 nicks him off! The end of a lean series for Bethell. Done by the slower ball. Full, wide outside off. Throws his hands at it, but can only manage a thin edge through to Mendis. Pathirana celebrates in trademark style 14/2
4.6 misses the mow, clips the top of the stumps! Drops his pace a touch, down to 54mph, as Banton clears his front leg and looks to swipe over mid-on. But he's through the shot early as the ball dips on him late, and the LED bails light up. England in real trouble! 28/3
5.4 lobbed straight to short extra cover! England are collapsing! Slower ball, sticks in the pitch, and Brook is through the shot about a week too early as he pushes forward. It loops up to Liyanage, in close, who takes one of the simplest chances you'll see at this level 34/4
19.5 sliced into the hands of deep third! Chameera claims a five-for with the penultimate ball of the innings. Goes full and wide and this time Curran's lofted shot flies down the throat of the fielder. A solid recovery knock after arriving with his team in dire straits 127/9
10.3 slower ball, plinked to midwicket! England lose another, Jacks the man to walk off with his head bowed. Didn't clock the change of pace until much too late, leaning forward and looking to work leg side, only to spoon the ball almost straight up. Chameera has a second and England continue to slowly subside 60/6
17.2 clubbed straight to deep midwicket! Pace off again and Dawson's heave didn't have the legs. He was hitting to the longer part of the ground and the man on the fence, Kamindu, had time to size it up before diving to hold on low down 107/7
17.5 top-edged and taken! The Chameera legcutter is on point tonight. Overton swipes hard across the line but only manages to send it up the chimney - well held by the man circling around under it from point, Liyanage 109/8

4.2 miscued to Jacks on the edge of the ring at cover! Tossed up, angling in and turning away. Nissanka looks to launch him back over his head but slices across the ball, and it lobs up for Jacks, running back. Wry smile from Nissanka as he looks at the pitch 34/2
0.3 plinked to mid-on, Wood strikes! Back of a length, Mishara climbs into the pull but splices it, and Duckett makes no mistake sliding low to his left. Wood roars in celebration, and looks fired up! 1/1
9.1 strikes first ball, two in two! That's a gift. Kusal was in position early to sweep a ball that pitched outside leg and was spinning further that way, but Jacks' overspin means that it takes the top edge and lobs up to short fine leg. England are right back in it! 62/4
8.6 cleaned up by a beautiful wrong 'un! Rashid strikes. That has come a long way back. Perfect length. Rathnayake wanted to come forward but made a late decision to hang back, didn't pick the googly, and was beaten all ends up by the sharp turn back into him. Middle and leg rearranged 62/3
13.1 skidding on, trapped in front - given! Looked plumb but Kamindu reviews. He was caught on the back foot, playing across the line. Just a smidge of turn down the line of off, and Hawk-Eye has it smashing the stump! Ravindra Kottahachchi raises his finger for a second time. Vital breakthrough for England, but is it too late? 90/5
15.1 Liyanage holes out to deep midwicket! Stretches out for the slog-sweep but never looked in control. Simple catch for the man in the deep and SL lose another. Third wicket for Jacks, his best bowling in T20Is. Nerves getting stretched around the ground 97/6
17.2 slog-swept, the ball bobbles into the air, and Buttler runs around to take the catch in front of the stumps! The TV umpire is going to check this. Looks like brilliant work from the keeper. Wellalage is unlucky, as he slammed the ball into his front leg and it looped up to the leg side. Buttler was alert to the chance, and sprinted around to take the catch in the tips of his gloves! Another twist 112/7
17.6 stumped, Buttler is sprinting off in celebration! Bethell snags his third of the over, turning one down the line of fifth stump and Shanaka is stranded! Absolute bedlam amongst the England players, though the rest of Pallekele International Stadium has gone rather quiet 113/9
17.4 dollied to cover! England have another! Chameera props forward tentatively and plops the simplest of catching chances straight to Brook. Bethell roars and wags a finger. SL are tottering with the finish line still just out of sight 112/8
19.3 top-edged to short third, England win! Bethell holds his nerve, Dawson holds the catch. SL crumble on a dust bowl to go down 3-0 - and extend their losing run against England to 11 consecutive T20Is! 116/10
