11:24pm That will be a wrap from us. We hope you enjoyed our coverage and we will be back at it tomorrow too. Until then, from Vairavan and myself (Shashwat), this is goodbye!

Nat Sciver-Brunt, Player of the Match: (What the hundred means) Special moment to get that milestone but more importantly, the runs on the board for the team. Getting that partnership with Hayley, it was massive for the team. (On her consistency) Just preparing the same way. Trying to turn up mentally in the same place too, and staying in the moment. Today, I was just reacting to the balls that were given to me. (On how she plans the innings) Tactically, some bowlers might be more of your strength than others. Some bowlers might be on fire that day, so may be better to try scoring against the others.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians captain: Great match. Don't know what to say. It was a good show from Nat and good contribution from Matthews. Good game overall. We have been playing together. This is our fourth year, we know each other well. Whenever team needs, someone stands up. Really happy everyone came together (and contributed to the win tonight). This little break really helped us. We had good bonding sessions. It gave us confidence. We knew these are important matches and we wanted to go in with a fresh mind. (On Sciver-Brunt) She has been amazing for our team. We love watching her batting and love playing with her. She is always taking responsibility and love to see that. She (Ismail) has been waiting for a long time. Good to see she has gotten her rhythm back and long may it continue.

Smriti Mandhana, RCB captain: Brilliant innings from Richa. It was a treat to watch. Nadine as well, good contribution. One of the best innings I have seen. (On NSB) She is a world-class player. She can hit one ball in three different places and that makes life difficult. The shots she played, not many answers we could find. Bowling has been brilliant throughout the first five games. One of those days when few of our bowlers did not get the lines right. Bell was brilliant with the new ball and when she came back in. Others could not step up. Credit to Nadine for bowling those two overs from the shorter end. We speak about not being complacent. We need to win one to go straight to final. There are some things we need to work on. Keeping things simple has worked and we have to keep things simple. We have to take good days and bad days both in our stride.

Hayley Matthews: We did really well to get to that score. Kudos to Nat. To have wickets in hand and then accelerate, which is what we were able to execute. With someone like Richa at the crease, you always know you could be up against something at the end. I definitely felt very good in the first two matches I played. Just happy I was able to put some numbers up on the board today. Here, specifically, the innings tends to change. The first 6-10 overs are hard. But with a short side, once we got near 70, we could push in the second ten and get 100-plus. We were able to find a boundary from both ends. Pretty good batting with Nat. We have a good relationship at the crease. Once we got ourselves set, we spoke about which bowlers we wanted to target and went at it. (On Rahila Firdous) That was a bit ridiculous. She has come in and stepped up. Today was another great example of how good she is. She seems like a real leader and like someone who knows what she is doing. (Match-up against Mandhana) Pretty happy when they got Grace out early and I could focus a bit more.

11:02pm Phew. What a breathless end to that contest. MI were so far ahead of the game and yet, they could only win by 15 runs. And that was all down to Ghosh, who thrilled everyone with a brazenly powerful display of ball-striking. She fell short, as did her side, but it was not for a lack of trying, at least from her.

Most of that was because RCB imploded in the first half of their innings. They were reeling at 35-5 and will be chuffed they got anywhere near MI's total. Speaking of MI, Matthews and Ismail caused most of the damage, with Kerr also popping up with a couple of wickets to ensure that MI did not completely wither away their advantage.

Kerr to Ghosh, OUT, a shank to finish the innings, and Ghosh and RCB fall short! Pulls the length back on middle and off. Ghosh takes a step down and swings for the hills. Loses her shape completely and the ball skews off to point, who does the rest. What a display of power-hitting by Ghosh but she just had too much on her plate!
