They might hit you for a four and six but you need to keep banging that six to seven metres length. This pitch was two paced. We sat down as a bowling group before this and wanted to win the powerplay. Really important to win that. We put the momentum in our favour.

6.12pm Marvellous Galle Marvels have booked a place in the final courtesy of an exceptional chase. A 178 chase was never going to be easy but Galle timed the chase to perfection. Alex Hales had a couple of reprieves and along with Tim Seifert, he took Galle forward as they reached 70 for 2 after the powerplay. Janith Liyanage was promoted to No. 4 and he repaid the team's faith as he collected boundaries at every given chance. He alongside Seifert stitched a 92-run stand for the third wicket and Jaffna never had a chance to come back. Both batters coasted to fifties and in the end, Galle sealed a win 11 balls to spare.
