News: 3 days agoWilson caught 10 of 13 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-24 loss to Detroit.

Spin: The star wideout -- who was evaluated for a head injury and cleared to return -- paced Jets pass catchers in all three receiving categories, and his 23-yard TD from Geno Smith in the fourth quarter tied the game at 24-24, only for the Lions to respond inside the final two minutes. It's Wilson's first 100-yard performance since Week 14 of the 2024 season, as injuries disrupted his 2025 campaign. Wilson also has found the end zone in back-to-back games, and he'll take a 21-243-2 line on 27 targets into a Week 4 road trip to Chicago.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Wilson is eyeing a bounce-back following an injury-shortened 2025 that limited him to seven games. It was the first time Wilson had missed time, having appeared in all 51 games during his first three seasons. The 2022 first-round pick ranked no lower than sixth among receivers in targets in each of those years, but he failed to produce a fantasy campaign better than 20th (PPG) due to New York's quarterback woes. Wilson was off to a hot start last season (four TDs, 14.2 fantasy PPG) thanks to a massive 33% target share (second highest). New York's signal-caller problems still aren't completely solved, but veteran Geno Smith should provide an upgrade over last year's Justin Fields/Tyrod Taylor duo. Wilson, 26, is one of the best raw talents at the position and should be valued as a good WR2.
