ESPN Fantasy Projection: The Sky traded Angel Reese to the Dream this spring as part of a roster overhaul, and Jaquez was selected by Chicago with the No. 5 pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft to help fill the void. Jaquez is a versatile wing player who improved as a shooter during her four seasons at UCLA, most recently averaging 13.5 points on 53.9 percent shooting, along with 5.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 30.4 minutes per game as a senior during the 2025-26 campaign. Despite losing Reese, the Sky made several prominent additions during the offseason, including Skylar Diggins, Rickea Jackson, Azura Stevens and Jacy Sheldon, so Jaquez isn't guaranteed an immediate starting role, but she should have plenty of opportunities to compete for playing time early on.
