News: 2 days agoLund (upper body) was placed on non-roster injured reserve by the Sharks on Monday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Spin: The Sharks announced in mid-September that Lund was expected to miss about a month due to his upper-body injury, so his placement on non-roster injured reserve isn't particularly surprising. Once he's cleared to return to action, he'll likely report to AHL San Jose.
