England vs. Czechia player ratings as Harry Kane shines on his special night in Nations League

England signed off the international break in style as they beat Czechia at Wembley, with Harry Kane marking his special evening with a brace.

The Bayern Munich striker made a record-equalling 125th appearance for the Three Lions, going level with Peter Shilton at the top of the caps list.

It was a strong display of attacking intent from England as they dominated from the very first whistle. The game will be remembered for Kane more than anything though, with the former Spurs man shining on a landmark night in his outstanding career.

Here's how ESPN rated England's players.

Manager rating (out of 10)

Thomas Tuchel, 8 -- No major issues for the German tonight as England not only played some nice stuff but also executed Tuchel's style well. England were quick, decisive and physical throughout the game and never allowed Czechia to get a foothold in the game. Overall it has been a positive break for Tuchel and England, especially after the heartbreak at the World Cup over the summer.

Player ratings (1-10; 10 = best, 5 = average)

GK Jordan Pickford, 7 -- Very little to do for the England goalkeeper on a night it was all about the attack. However, he did have a few shaky moments on the ball once again.

RB Trent Alexander-Arnold, 7 -- A few lapses in concentration defensively aside, he was solid enough. Overall it's been a strong return to the England scene for the Real Madrid full back and Trent can be enthused about things moving forward as part of Tuchel's setup.

CB Marc Guéhi, 7 -- Nothing of major note to do for Guehi but he always looked commanding in the air and won his battles with ease.

CB Jarell Quansah, 7 -- Returned to centre-back after time on the right against Croatia and didn't have any lapses, looking composed throughout.

LB Lewis Hall, 7 -- Played with a great tenacity once again and supported the attack at every possible opportunity.

CM Myles Lewis-Skelly, 8 -- Cool, calm and composed. Lewis-Skelly has the look of a player with over 100 caps for his country at times. Certainly making an impression as he anchors the midfield.

CM Elliot Anderson, 8 -- Should've perhaps scored early on but made up for it with a brilliant wedge pass to Rogers, who assisted Kane. Neat and tidy as ever.

CAM Jude Bellingham, 8 -- Not quite on the level he was against Croatia but still, the Real Madrid man put in plenty of effort and ran rings around the Czechia midfield with his physical performance.

RW Eberechi Eze, 6 -- Once again looked uncomfortable in the side and failed to make any real impression. Lacks the punch of Gordon in attack and missed an opportunity here to make an impression. He made an effort to combine with Kane but ultimately it looks like the midfielder doesn't fit.

ST Harry Kane, 9 -- What else is left to say about England's captain? On a night he levelled up with Shilton for the most appearances with the Three Lions, Kane produced a superb attacking display as he's so often done throughout the years in an England shirt. A brace and a brilliant whipped ball that resulted in a Czechia own goal. Here's to another 125 caps for the main man!

LW Morgan Rogers, 7 -- Fluffed a few very good chances but in general very good with his movement and hard work. His driven first time pass to Kane was the sort of thing England need in attack.

Substitutes (Players introduced after 70 minutes = no rating)

Jarrad Branthwaite for Guehi, 6 -- Looked at ease when he came on and slotted into defence well.

James Garner for Anderson, 6 -- Appeared at left-back late on and didn't let anyone down as usual.

Morgan Gibbs-White for Bellingham, NR

Rio Ngumoha for Hall, NR

Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Kane, NR
