Premier League recap: Haaland wins it for Man City vs. Arsenal in key title clash

Manchester City hosted Premier League leaders Arsenal in a massive game that might have decided the title, even with a month still to play. In the end, it was Pep Guardiola's side that got the last laugh with a huge 2-1 win, thanks to Erling Haaland's winner.

Earlier, Liverpool won the first Merseyside derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium against Everton thanks to a last-minute header from Virgil van Dijk to end the game 2-1. The Reds are now seven points clear of Chelsea in the battle for a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, fourth-placed Aston Villa needed a late goal from Tammy Abraham to beat Sunderland 4-3, having thrown away a 3-1 lead after conceding twice in 58 seconds, to go level on points with Man United. And a Morgan Gibbs-White hat trick ensured that Nottingham Forest took a big step towards safety with a 4-1 win over Burnley that moved them five points clear of 18th-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
