Chennai Super Kings (CSK) sealed an NRR-boosting win against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their IPL 2026 game in Delhi on Tuesday. Here are the latest updates on the Orange Cap and Purple Cap tables.

Orange Cap leaderboard

CSK opener Sanju Samson returned to the top five after scoring a match-winning 87* off 52 balls in their chase of 156 on a slow, grippy Delhi pitch.

Samson displaced Gujarat Titans' B Sai Sudharsan from the No. 5 spot, joining KL Rahul, Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi as the only batters with 400 or more runs in IPL 2026. Samson currently has 402 runs in ten innings at an average of 57.42 and strike rate of 167.50.

Rahul, meanwhile, took back the top spot despite having a bad day, scoring 12. But it was enough to go five runs ahead of Abhishek at the top.

With SRH set to face Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Wednesday night, both Abhishek and Klaasen have a chance to move up to the top spot.

Purple Cap leaderboard

The top five remained unchanged following Tuesday's result.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 17 wickets) is still on top of the Purple Cap leaderboard, followed by Anshul Kamboj, the CSK man also on 17 wickets after going wicketless against DC. Next are Kagiso Rabada (Gujarat Titans, 16 wickets), Jofra Archer (Rajasthan Royals, 15 wickets) and Eshan Malinga (Sunrisers Hyderabad, 15 wickets).
