It was a sensational bowling performance led by Pierre, who gave nothing away early on in the powerplay and took three key wickets in a spin bowling masterclass. David Wiese was devastating with the bat, playing a crucial knock before returning to bowl some vital overs. Noor Ahmed has certainly grown voluminously over the years and was superb with all his tricks, creating massive problems for the batters. Spin dominated the proceedings as Falcons lacked the depth and combined skill to handle the potent bowling attack. Falcons performed admirably with the ball, thanks to their captain Chris Green, who was outstanding both with the ball and in the fight with the bat but he received little support in the batting department from his teammates and the task became onerous towards the end
