@joshweinfuss How close is Capi to making the team now? #CardsMailbag

Like real close, particularly after his performance Saturday night in Atlanta. Cap Capi made his case to be the fourth outside linebacker on the Arizona Cardinals' 53-man roster with seven tackles, three quarterback hurries, 1.5 sacks and a tackle for loss.
Couple that with a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry from last week and Capi has been making a run at the roster.
Capi’s case is helped by Jarvis Jones' lingering back injury, which has kept him off the field for the duration of training camp. There’s not time frame for Jones’ return, which could cost him a chance at making the roster. And if the Cardinals want to keep four outside linebackers, Capi makes the most sense for the fourth behind Chandler Jones, Markus Golden and Kareem Martin.
Capi showed his ability to make plays throughout the Falcons game with six solo tackles.
He has one more game to convince Arizona to keep him on their 53-man roster, but Capi might have done enough against the Falcons to make the decision for the front office.
